A China-Europe train loaded with goods departed from the Xinxiang, Henan province to Yen Vien International station, Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam.
Agricultural products such as shiitake mushrooms and dried goods along with mechanical parts have made their way to the capital city of Hanoi, Vietnam after a “strike root” period at XinXiang in Henan province,China on August 06, 2022.
407.5 tons of goods worth US$5.188 million will arrive in Hanoi in 5 to 7 days.
These items will also pass through Pingxiang, a border city in south China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
This is also the first cargo route connecting ASEAN countries with XinXiang city, Henan Province.
The operation of this cargo route is expected to benefit local businesses and northern Henan province, China to penetrate the Southeast Asia market, enhancing international integration with the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).
From January to July this year, China-Europe train had made 964 departing from Henan province to Europe, an increase of over 13.5% compared to the same period last year.
